Sen. Eric Berthel, Sen. Tony Hwang, Sen. Kevin Kelly, and Sen. Stephen Harding today said they are calling for Federal Disaster Relief in response to the recent catastrophic flooding.
“This devastating and disastrous flooding damage will undoubtedly surpass the financial threshold for significant federal aid to the communities we represent. We must get this federal funding expedited and directed to help our towns recover and rebuild as soon as possible. There is no time to lose.”
The state lawmakers are writing to Connecticut’s congressional delegation and the governor today to officially urge prompt action and relief.
