Food insecurity continues to rise across Connecticut and far too many families are struggling as the holiday season approaches. That is why I am asking our community to come together on Saturday, November 22 at the Sacred Heart University Community Theatre for a special Thanksgiving Food and Fund Drive supporting Operation Hope and local families in need.
This long standing tradition brings our community together with compassion and purpose. I am grateful to partner once again with Operation Hope, the SHU Community Theatre, and nationally renowned children’s musician Laurie Berkner, who will be performing for families during the event. Cash contributions make the greatest impact, helping Operation Hope and Connecticut Foodshare stretch resources and directly serve the growing number of households seeking assistance.
Let us stand together and ensure that no family in Fairfield enters the holiday season without support.
