Sen. Hwang Honors National Champ UConn Huskies at CT Capitol
Sen. Tony Hwang on Apr. 27 joined legislators in honoring the national champion University of Connecticut men’s basketball team. Sen. Hwang joined with the governor and lawmakers in congratulating UConn Coach Danny Hurley and players including Donovan Clingan, Andre Jackson Jr. and Joey Calcaterra.
“Connecticut is so proud of this team and its accomplishments,” Sen. Hwang said. “Their dedication, unselfishness and teamwork has put them atop the college basketball world. As Democrat and Republican lawmakers, we congratulated them at The People’s House to show them how much their state appreciates them. UConn basketball makes Connecticut proud and they are winners!”
