I support, strongly, Tony Hwang for another term as state senator for the 28th District. He is tireless. He spends as much time in Newtown as he would if he lived here! I was proud to carry his sign in the Labor Day parade.
I like to review candidate accomplishments, to look at their web pages. Go to “tonyhwang.org” to see for yourself. You will see, under “Blog” , his record as your state senator. He has debated and voted on issues benefitting Newtown his entire career. I will give you more detail in another letter, but in my opinion his accomplishments are what Newtowners want.
His opponent has an impossibly long list of what he will do if elected. Whatever you want is on the list.
So I ask you, the voter, do you want a senator who has performed in the best interests of Newtown for 10 years, or a candidate who offers a potpourri of pledges he cannot keep.
