I am proud to endorse my long-time friend, Tony Hwang, for a return to the State Senate on behalf of the 28th District. I endorse him for many reasons. The first is that I believe in a system of government that has room for at least two parties, and it works best when its elected officials work in a bipartisan way. As a lifelong Democrat, I have worked with Tony, as a Republican, on many issues and I have found him thoughtful, helpful and fair. In addition to many other issues, Tony has been an active advocate in the fight against domestic violence, advocating for policies and laws that will prevent it and better protect victims. I urge all voters to re-elect Tony – he will be your advocate too.
