FAIRFIELD – The non-partisan Connecticut League of Conservation Voters officially endorsed State Senator Tony Hwang for re-election.
Lori Brown, Executive Director of CTLCV, said, “Working together, we can leave a clean and protected state to future generations of Connecticut residents. Thank you for your leadership and enthusiasm in tackling important environmental issues. We look forward to your successful election on November 3rd.”
State Senator Tony Hwang said protecting and cleaning our environment is critically important to preventing rapid climate change.
“We must protect and cherish our environment,” said Senator Hwang. “Climate change is a serious issue and we are seeing the dangerous impacts of people ignoring how important our environment is. Caring for our environment shouldn’t be a partisan issue, it should be an issue every single human cares about. I will continue to promote and advocate for legislation that is pro-environment because I care about the future of our planet.”
In 2019, Senator Hwang received a 100 percent score on the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters report card. For more information about Senator Tony Hwang and his track record visit tonyhwang.org.
